Appointments to the VR Transpoint Management Team

Joni Lehtonen will start as Vice President, Commercial, at VR Transpoint on 23 November. Lehtonen will be responsible for sales management in rail logistics, the sales strategy, customer experience development and marketing for VR Transpoint. Lehtonen has a strong background in logistics and the commercial sector, and he has worked in several management and development roles, where he has been responsible for, among other things, key customer relationships, transportation and terminal operations.

Olli Rautiainen has been appointed as Vice President, Development, at VR Transpoint as of 5 December. Rautiainen will be responsible for the management of logistics development projects and support the management and units in the implementation of the business strategy. He has solid knowledge of implementing business strategies, business development projects and project management, especially in the field of commercial development.
