Riihimäki terminal

The Riihimäki terminal is suited for storing diverse goods. The terminal features both unheated and semi-heated warehouse space.

In addition to intermediate storage, our services include handling of goods, re-packaging and warehouse accounting. It is possible to combine or divide different cargo flows at the terminal.

The Riihimäki terminal is located north of the “ring road four” and next to the Helsinki–Tampere motorway. Distribution distances to different parts of the Helsinki metropolitan region are short.

The area has a track connection, so road transports can be combined with railway transport. We offer total service from the point of departure to the destination. We can transport the products by road or rail from the customer to the terminal and forward.

Handling of goods

At the terminal, we handle a wide range of goods, such as pallet goods, construction products and large sacks, with counterbalanced forklifts. Our services also include loading and unloading with a material handling machine.

Warehousing

The floor area of the terminal is approximately 10,300 square metres, of which 1,000 square metres is semi-heated space and 9,300 square metres is unheated space. Unloading is possible at side and rear unloading stations.

Thanks to the track to the plot, goods can be moved easily between trucks and trains. Track length in the terminal area is approximately 90 metres.

We take care of warehouse accounting, reporting, inventories and preparation of waybills using our warehouse management system that can be integrated into the customer’s systems through EDI connections.

The customer can also manage their products through the extranet, making it possible to check the stock balance or print out waybills, for example.
