Transpoint International selling subsidiary in Hungary

VR Transpoint's international road logistics company, Transpoint International (FI) Oy is selling its subsidiary in Hungary to the Hungarian Trans-Sped Group. Transpoint International (HU) Kft has operated on the warehousing logistics market in western Hungary as well as in road logistics in eastern parts of Central Europe and between Hungary and Finland.
- We will continue to focus on international road logistics to Russia and the Baltic countries through our own companies. In other parts of Eastern Europe, we will operate using our extensive partner network, explains Rolf Jansson, Senior Vice President, Logistics.
With the deal, ownership of Transpoint International (HU) Kft will be transferred entirely to the Trans-Sped Group. The company's Tatabánya, Tata and Budapest locations employ a total of 120 persons, who will be immediately transferred to the employ of the new owners.
The two parties have agreed to not publish the value of the deal.
